This course is about the development of skills in the workplace.
The Training Response offers;

These programs work. There is a three-stage process for every training program which The Training Response provides. The three stages are:
 | A site visit - to get to know the participants and to learn about their background. It is also an opportunity to get to know about the work that they do, so that the program can be tailored to meet their workplace, the requirements of their job
and their own individual requirements. The training manual is as far as possible customised to meet organisational and individual needs.
 | Training delivery. Delivery is highly participative, it is not a lecture. Participants are expected to work, so that they start to develop (or polish) the skills required.
 | A follow up - participants develop a work-based project to implement the training on the job. This may be where participants deliver a training session, or a work-based presentation. During the training they may have been asked to develop an
action plan to improve customer service, or their telephone skills or their time management. At the follow-up session they report back on how they are going, the improvements they have made and their action plan for the future.

The critical outcome of conducting training is that at the end of the program, participants are able to do what the training was designed to achieve. The third stage of this process is critical to ensure that participants are putting the
lessons into practice on the job.
