We humans communicate more expertly, and our communication is far more complex and sophisticated than that of any other species.

One of the great challenges of our ability to communicate lies in that complexity. We frequently
miscommunicate. The more complex the relationships, the more the opportunity we have to get it wrong. That can be tragic in one on one
relationships, it can be fatal in business.
Facilitation is about helping people to communicate more clearly. This can be done within divisions of large organisations, within a small business or within teams in a workplace. The outcomes to be achieved are agreed, and the agenda is developed in consultation with
the client, and ideally the staff as well, and then leadership of the meeting is handed over to a neutral outsider.
A safe environment is created where people are encouraged to openly have their say. Within the meeting, gaols are set, and blockages, which may impact on the achievement of the goals, are identified. Options for measures which will remove the blockages and move the team
towards achievement of the goals are identified and selected and action plans are developed and documented.

Follow up meetings review the achievement of the action plans, identifying in the process any further blockages which may have arisen.
These are dealt with, so that the team moves forward in a spirit of open communication and cooperation.
