At any moment in life, we are feeling emotion. 

In conflict, the level of that emotion is likely to be very high. 

High levels of emotion will impact upon our relationships. 

High levels of emotion get in the way of working effectively. 

Better to resolve the conflict, and to get on with life!

Whilst we may sometimes simply want the other person to see our point of view, or to agree to do things the way we want them done, this may not be the best outcome for long-term effective relationships.

Conflict Resolution and Negotiation is about enhancing relationships; seeing conflict as an opportunity to move forward, and to do things differently. Conflict Resolution and Negotiation is also about creating win-win outcomes. 

Win-win outcomes leave the individuals in the situation feeling valued and respected. Such outcomes mean that individual or corporate goals have been met, and above all, that the people in the situation are willing to do business with each other again..
